Amazon - Setting up 2FA
This page will highlight how you can set up 2FA with your Amazon account
If you wish to have a smooth login without constantly approving your login request then follow the directions below.
Head to Login and Security and select Edit on Two-Step Verification Settings
2. Click on Get Started on the following page below
3. Select Authenticator APP from the two choices
4. Click the drop-down arrow on Can't scan the barcode? Copy and Save this code
5. Download the Authenticator App from the APP Store as it will be required
6. Open the App and click the "+" on the bottom right and select Enter a Setup Key
7. Set your Amazon Email as the Account name and 2FA Key as the key
8. After Adding the Account, you will be given an OTP code. Place that Code where Amazon prompted and Select Verify OTP and Continue
9. Lastly, verify that Authenticator App is set as primary
10. To import your accounts into Akari you must use the following format email:password:2FA
Make sure you leave the spaces in the 2FA code
After Importing the Accounts verify each account has the correct 2FA code by clicking edit on the account
